What Enlighten Basic does

Enlighten Basic is Spoke's AI call transcription and summary feature. Every inbound and outbound call is automatically transcribed, summarized, and stored against the contact record. The summary is available within 30 seconds of a call ending and syncs to your CRM automatically.

The problem it solves

After every call, someone has to write it up. Notes in the CRM, a follow-up email, a record of what was agreed. That means 5 to 10 minutes of admin per call — time spent after the conversation is over, reconstructing what happened from memory. Across a team handling ten calls a day, documentation consumes hundreds of hours a month that could go to customers instead.

The second problem is context. When a customer calls back, the agent who answers may not be the one who spoke to them last. Without a shared record of previous conversations, that agent starts from scratch. How it works

When a call ends, Enlighten Basic generates a transcript and an AI summary covering key points, outcomes, and next steps. The summary is emailed to the agent automatically and pushed to the CRM. Before the next call from that customer arrives, the Insights screen displays the summary and sentiment from the last interaction — before the agent picks up. During an active call, the Insights tab shows the full chronological history of every previous conversation the team has had with that customer, including calls handled by colleagues. All of this is available on the Spoke Phone app, desktop and mobile, so agents in the field get the same context as anyone at a desk — without needing to open the CRM.
